Bantayog ng mga Bayani is the proud recipient of scrapbooks of newsclippings about the Marcos regime, taken from American newspapers by anti-Marcos activist Ferdie A. Fausto, one of the founding members and the first chair of the St. Louis chapter of the Movement for a Free Philippines.
Mr. Fausto spent long hours browsing through the St. Louis Public Library and started his newsclipping project as a way of “collecting news about the Marcos martial law through the eyes of the American press.
